The Eastern Railway has issued a tender to install 1.5 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems without battery energy storage across multiple sites. The locations include Liluah sorting yard coaching complex, Tikiapara coaching complex, electric multiple unit (EMU) car shed, electric loco shed, and diesel shed in Howrah, West Bengal.
