PGCIL Wins Bid to Develop 765 kV Transmission Project to Strengthen Eastern Grid

The Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has won the bid to construct a 765 kV transmission project in India’s Eastern Region (ERSS-XVIII). They won the bid through competitive bidding auction and will develop the transmission network on a build, own, operate and maintain (BOOM) basis. PFC Consulting, a subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation, conducted the tender.
