Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) has granted its approval to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL) to procure 157.9 MW on a long-term basis from wind generators at tariff discovered through a competitive bidding process.
