Bahrain’s Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs received nine bids for the development of a 3 MW grid-connected solar project for the General Sports Authority. The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and five years of operations and maintenance under a CAPEX model. Almoayyed Solar submitted the lowest price at BHD845,258 (~$2.3 million), followed by Midal Solar at BHD938,631 (~$2.5 million). Both bids were accepted with conditions. The highest bid came from Eversystems at BHD1.89 million (~$5 million), while Kanoo Cleanmax Renewables’ offer was suspended.
