Japan’s Organization for Cross-regional Coordination of Transmission Operators (OCCTO) has awarded 79 MW of solar capacity in the 27th solar power auction, the fourth auction held in fiscal year 2025, with a weighted-average winning price of ¥4.61 (~$0.029)/kWh.
