The Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has issued amendments to the tender floated earlier for 1,000 air-conditioned four-wheeler electric sedan cars with a driving range of 180 km on a pan India basis. EESL is a joint venture of the public-sector units of the Ministry of Power and the Government of India.
