The Solar Energy Corporation of India issued a tender to select solar power developers for setting up 1 GW inter-state transmission system-connected solar projects (Tranche XII) in India. The last date to submit the bids is November 20, 2023. Bids will be opened on November 23. The bidders must submit an amount of ₹928,000 (~$11,147) per MW of the quoted capacity as an earnest money deposit. Bidders must also submit a bid processing fee worth ₹500,000 (~$6,006) plus 18% GST for each project from 50 MW up to 90 MW and ₹1.5 million (~$18,018) plus 18% GST for projects with capacity from 100 MW and above.
