The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has approved 2877 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in 68 cities across 25 states and union territories under the second phase of faster adoption and manufacturing of hybrid and electric vehicles (FAME-II) program. The information was revealed by the Minister of State for Heavy Industries Krishan Pal Gurjar in a written reply in the Lok Sabha.
